In the past few months, I have been testing and trying quite a few natural (and organic) lipsticks. Today, I am finally able to share my favorites with you. I am pretty picky when it comes to lipsticks, actually. I love lipsticks, but I do not like the fact that like soooo many of them dry my lips. Also, as we all eat part of the lipstick we wear, I am super picky about the ingredients in there. I should basically be able to eat the lipstick, I am wearing.
The lipsticks I am sharing here are all safe. They all certified natural cosmetics with a high percentage of organic ingredients, they are all free of parabenes, silicones and heavy metals (which you can find in most conventional lipsticks). Let’s have a closer look at each of them.
SANTE Lipstick No. 24 is gently nourishing and protecting with jojoba oil, berries wax and vitamin E. It is not very highly pigemented, so when applying only once, you will get a soft shade which is perfect for the day. Applying it three to four times will get you a wonderful itense color which will last for a couple of hours.
On the picture I have been applying three coats.
I really like this one because I can use it for both day and night depending on how much color I apply. It nourishes my lips nicely and does not leave me with a dry feeling.
The benecos lipstick is super super soft and creamy. It is nourishing with avocado oil and babassu butter and is highly pigmented. One coat is enough to get a really nice result.
On the picture I have been applying two coats.
I like this one because it is super creamy and soft, it is nicely nourising and I only have to apply one coat for a strong result.
The Truly Natural Lipstick from Honeybee Garden’s is combining lip-quenching botanicals with natural mineral pigments to give you both all the nourish and all the color you could ever wish for. It contains certified organic sunflower seed oil, cocoa butter which protects your lips, and sesame seed oil to heal and soften.
Next to the one from Lavera and the one from Provida, this one is the most long-lasting from all the natural lipsticks I have ever tried.
On the picture I am wearing the color Risque and I applied two coats.
I like this one because it is super long lasting for a natural lipstick and still hydrates my lips like a balm.
puroBio is offering lipsticks with a creamy, semi-matte finish which I personally really enjoy. Their lipsticks include organic castor oil with moisturising properties. The lipstick is semi highly pigmented, so after one application you will get a soft result which will get more intense when applying several coats.
On the picture I applied three coats. I really love the semi-matte shade for during the day by the way.
I like this lipstick because of it’s semi-matte finish and because it is highly hydrating and applied very easily.
Lavera is a classic, obviously, and I have a whole bunch of Lavera lipsticks which I all love. I wear them a lot, actually. They are pretty long lasting which makes them great for long and busy days where I tend to forget to renew my lipstick.
The lipsticks from Lavera are all highly pigmented and really comfortable to wear. They are less creamy compared to the other lipsticks I am presenting here, however they also last longer. They contain organic jojoba oil, shea butter, coconut oil, cocoa butter, almond oil, olive oil, and argan oil.
I like the Lavera lipsticks because they are really long lasting for a natural lipstick and they are highly pigmented which makes them easy and fast to apply (on the picture I applied two coats).
The Lipsticks from Logona are super creamy and comfortable to apply. It actually contains a natural anti-ageing active complex with organic cranberry, organic apple seed, and organic brown algae extract. It hydrates and nourishes my lips very well and is one of my faves for normal work-mum-life-days.
It is slightly shiny as you can see on the picture. Something I like with a soft, nude color like the one I applied here. I applied two coats on the picture.
I like this lipstick because it is super creamy, hydrating, and beautifully shiny.
The Provida lipsticks are slightly different, as they do not come in the typical lipstick shape but with a small lip brush. They are richly pigmented with a good opacity. Pure mineral pigments are combined with jojoba oil, shea butter and vitamin E – and a little bit of peppermint! I really enjoy this little bit of peppermint on my lips. Just love this fresh feeling.
The lipstick provides intensive care and protects dry lips. It definetly takes a little longer to apply this one compared to the others, however, at the same time you can apply it much more carefully and I usually get a better result when applying with a brush instead of a stick.
On the picture I applied three coats.
I really like this one because I can apply it very evenly with the brush, it is really nourishing, rich in color, and long lasting.
Wow. Seven lipsticks and seven brands are quite a lot to write about. But I truly could not throw any of these out. They all have their advantages which makes them special to me; be it the creaminess of the benecos lipstick, the intense color of my lavea lipsticks or the included brush of my provida lipsticks. I just like them all for a special reason.
Feel free to ask any questions you might have about these lipsticks! And also leave me your favorites in the comment if you like. I would love to read about them!
